Choosing Your Tours
Some of you will have a clear idea of the places you would like to visit, others may have specific interests you would like to pursue and others may have no list at all. Our aim is to give all the help you need to organise a really great itinerary - just for you.
On your arrival day we sit down with you and work through all your ideas and specific interests. From this information and with your approval we put together tour days that will cater for all your needs. When planning your itinerary we take into account: your requirements in terms of mobility etc., opening days and times, the shortest driving distances to make the most of your time and last but not least the weather! By taking all these things into consideration we can offer you the best combination of sightseeing and relaxed travel.
To give you the complete freedom to tailor your own tours, we ensure that each group staying with us have their own driver guide and vehicle. This means that when we have more than one group at Church House you still go where you want to go without compromise.
The tours are taken in our comfortable 7 seater, air-conditioned Toyota minibus or when required our air-conditioned Mitsubishi Estate car. When we have more than one group or if I am in need of a break from driving, we have an experienced local driver guide to look after you.
Eating out at lunch time
We are very keen to show you our wonderful part of Britain and will go out their way to show you things that other tour groups may not even know exist! Tour days are very relaxed with plenty of stops for photographs, rest stops or to just take in the scenery.
At lunch times we normally hunt out a good local tearoom or pub serving a range of foods from sandwiches to cooked meals not to mention a glass of local ale. For those who prefer different surroundings for lunch there are good restaurants and tea rooms to be found at all the places we visit. Occasionally we buy a picnic and find a quiet country lane for a peaceful lunchtime stop.
