Travel at your own pace
Because all the tours start from Church House there is no need for early starts with your bags outside your bedroom door at 6:30! We give you plenty of time to take in the sites at your own pace which means that you can enjoy the whole experience of touring without feeling the need be moving on all the time. Obviously there are only so many hours in the day for touring so our guides will help you decide on how you want to organise your day to make the most of your time.
Our tours are crafted around your interests and as such offer you the ultimate flexibility to create you own itinararies from our extensive list of facsinating destinations. On your arrival day we sit down with you and work through all your ideas and specific interests. From this information and with your approval we put together tour days that will cater for all your needs. When planning your itinerary we take into account: your requirements in terms of mobility etc., opening days and times, the shortest driving distances to make the most of your time and last but not least the weather! By taking all these things into consideration we can offer you the best combination of sightseeing and relaxed travel.
Our flexibility extends to being able to change daily itineraries as we go along depending on changes in weather or other factors.
The tours are taken in our comfortable 7 seater, air-conditioned Toyota MPV or when required our air-conditioned Mitsubishi Estate car. Your driver will either be Paul or Mike both of whom are very experienced and knowledgeable guides. We'll take good care of you!

We like to eat well at Church House and Susy is a great cook. We use locally produced ingredients whenever possible including organic fruit, vegetables and salads from our own garden. We are very lucky to have a local butcher for meat, a local fish monger who delivers fresh locally caught fish to our door and a local organic producer of salads and veg and last but not least, the stoneground organic flour we use for our bread comes from a local watermill. Put all these ingredients together and you have great food to enjoy for breakfast and dinner. We tailor out menus to match your food preferences.
The price displayed on our prices page is the price you pay, there are no hidden extras or tax to add. Included in the price is all your accommodation at Church House, breakfast and 3 course dinner in the evening and vehicle and driver for each days touring. We alo give you a FREE National Trust Trouring Pass that will allow you free access to most the National Trust properties in England.
